Status: RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT — RLF does not currently have commercial restaurant product availability.
RLF is developing relationships with chefs, chef-owners, independent restaurants, and specialty food businesses interested in differentiated local livestock products as production and legal processing pathways come online.
Why talk before the product exists?
Small livestock farms make better production decisions when they understand real demand early. Conversations about species, seasonal needs, whole-animal utilization, preferred cuts or formats, order frequency, delivery expectations, and price constraints can inform production without pretending that supply already exists.
Products being explored
Long-term possibilities include rabbit, lamb, specialty poultry and turkey, eggs, pork, beef, and other farm products as each enterprise becomes operational and meets processing and distribution requirements.
Rabbit, lamb, and heritage or specialty poultry may offer especially useful farm-to-table opportunities, but RLF will not promise volumes, dates, breeds, cuts, or pricing before production and processing capacity are confirmed.
How commercial food sales fit the entity structure
RLF is the livestock-production farm. Customer-facing sales of processed meat, eggs, honey, and other appropriate RLF-derived foods route through Cricket Hill Farmstand as that food-production, aggregation, retail, and commercial-sales system develops. CHF may also sell its own produce/herbs and approved partner-farm foods. RLF remains the direct sales channel for live animals and breeding stock.
Interested in a future conversation?
We welcome nonbinding conversations with food professionals who would like to understand the farm plan or share what they look for from local livestock producers.
